Volverás a Casa

Volveras a Casa evolves around concepts of ́home´, history, projection, dreams, and our internal and actual journeys that we might undertake to reach our goals. The project literally takes places on and in the sea, considering this body of water as a symbolic and physical space of great importance in human life and history. Using the over-sea voyage of a sculpture as a metaphor, allows us to build up a specific narrative on humans drivings forces, and the inner imaginary we all hold.

This is a project in collaboration with Guillermo Basagoiti Brown.

Volveras a Casa has been exhibited in the Larnaca Biennale (2023), Museo Can Mario, Fundacion Vila Casas, Palafugell (2023) and the Focus Foundation, Spain (2022).
