Maps of Uncharted Territory - Deviations
Linen, charcoal, cotton, bamboo, nylon

These cartographic fragments of linen, embroidered and sewn, are held together by what is basic for us humans: home. The black background is created using charcoal, a material that comes directly from the core of human settlements: fire.
The abstractions of forms, contrasts and lineages intersect with geometry, poetic symbolism and graphic composition.
